Children at CCC
Children are an important part of the body of Christ Community Church. In our children’s ministry, we desire to come alongside parents and support them in training children to love and obey Christ with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall commend your works to another,
and shall declare your mighty acts.
Psalm 145:3-4.
On Sunday morning, children from birth-4th grade are invited to participate in classes where they can play and learn about the Bible in a welcoming, safe environment. Children are also always welcome to accompany their parents in the main service.
Kids of all ages are registered at the check-in desk. On your first visit, you’ll be given an opportunity to make a profile with Planning Center. After your family profile is created, you can check in quickly using your phone number. Upon registration, you will receive name tags for each child along with your parent pickup sticker.
We offer the following classes at our various service times:
8:30 service: Babies/toddlers, preschool-1st grade
10:00 service: Babies, toddlers, preschool, K-2, 3-4
11:30 service: Babies/toddlers, preschool, K-4
Nursery and preschool classes meet for the entire length of the service. K-4 children attend the first part of the service with their parents in the sanctuary and are dismissed to class during the sermon portion of the main service.
Please note that on holidays and 5th Sundays, our elementary classes (K-4) do not meet. This gives K-4th graders an opportunity to learn to be part of the larger church gathering.
