Senior Pastor

Stephen Watson is an elder and serves as the Senior Pastor of Christ Community Church. He grew up in Florence TX and has fond memories of spending weekends in Killeen visiting his grandparents.

Stephen has served the church in many different roles. He pastored churches in Stephenville and Whitney TX and spent 11 years as the associate pastor at Grace Bible Church in Killeen.

Stephen married Lindsey in 2005 and they have four children: Abby, Jem, Leah, and Nathaniel.

Associate Pastor

Joe Furnari serves as Associate Pastor and oversees Youth, Youth Jr., and church operations and administration. He was born and raised in the beautiful state of New Hampshire and met his wife Alyssa while he was in college. They were married in 2013 and have three children: Teagan, Elliot, and Declan.

Joe spent 12 years on active duty in the Army before being called to full-time ministry. He has a passion for discipling youth and pointing them to the joy and satisfaction that is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. He loves the outdoors, reading, and spending time with his family.

Children’s Ministry Director

Lindsey Watson serves as the director for the CCC Children’s Ministry. She began teaching at the high school level, but she has spent most of her career in education teaching elementary and middle school in Christian classical schools. In this capacity, Lindsey has worked in the classroom as well as with curriculum development and parent support. She has brought this experience to developing and leading the children’s ministry.

A Central Texas native, Lindsey is married to Stephen, and they have four children. She loves reading, organizing, and chocolate ice cream.

Worship Ministry Director

Jason Chick serves Christ Community Church as the Worship Ministry Director. Jason grew up in Phoenix, AZ. Jason’s service in the United States Army brought him to Bell County, where he became part of the worship team of Grace Bible Church. Since that time, he has received further training in worship ministry from Austin Stone Community Church.

Jason learned how the play the guitar in 2013 to impress the ladies. He gives credit to his musical skills for winning the heart of his wife Megan! They have been married since 2015 and have two children, Kaladin and Vivenna.
